Sig is a spacey boy. His left eye and left hand are red, with the latter being a large claw. He is derived from the neutral parts of a demon and is clueless of his origins. Little is known about his origins, and the same can be said about Strange Klug, which may be the other halve of the beast. However, it is implied that Lemres has some knowledge that he isn’t willing to share. His magic derives from Blue Magic, and has a connection with insects, usually oblivious to anything except for them. In fact, he has a deep interest or even obsession in collecting bugs and makes a hobby of it. His magic spells are based on the color blue, namely Cyan, Paraiba, Lapis Lazuli, Robin's Egg, Celestial and Hydrangea (the latter two localized as Celladon and Cobalt respectively). His birthday is June 16th.
Sig was first introduced in Puyo Puyo Fever 2, with a playable set of courses in story mode. From his debut all the way to the most recent games, he shows little recognizable emotion - as such, many assume he has some sort of emotional problem. Although he is sometimes shown smiling, he lacks emotions through his text, and acts passively toward things.
In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, Oniko had fallen in love with Sig. However, Sig shows no interest in her. In Japanese fanart, Sig is shown in a relationship with Klug quite commonly. Less commonly suggested is a relationship between Sig and Raffina.
Relationships
Amitie
Sig and Amitie both attend Primp Magic School and are good friends. Many believe that Amitie may have a crush on Sig, especially after reading the cutscene dialogue for the Amitie vs. Sig battle during the Illusion Battles in Puyo Puyo Tetris, in which Amitie states that she has something to tell the illusion of Sig standing before her, until he stops her and tells her to say it to the real Sig. It is never made clear whether or not Amitie ever told Sig. In the official light novel "Amitie and the Girl of Love" in the chapter "What's Love?" Amitie begins to question whether or not she is in love with Sig, Sig begins to question it as well until Klug steps in and tells Amitie that she doesn't understand anything about love.
Feli
Sig has a good friendship with Feli who dislikes Klug.
Klug
Sig and Klug are classmates, as well as friends. Both Klug and Sig share a
connection to the Record of Sealing described in Puyo Puyo Fever 2, where the spirit within the Record of Sealing possesses Klug after being unsealed by him, and makes it clear it recognized Sig as its other half.
Lemres
Sig seems to dislikes Lemres, usually finding him suspicious as he immediately attempts to leave several times after first meeting him, and leaves him to fend for himself after winning the Puyo battle against him unlike Klug who admires Lemres naturally making him a target for Feli.
Ms. Accord
Ms. Accord is Sig's teacher at Primp Magic Academy, her other students being Amitie, Raffina, Klug, and Lidelle. She has implied that she knows about the reason Sig's red arm and eye are the way they are, but has never talked about it, always avoiding the question.
