Puyo Puyo Tetris, originally released in Japan on February 6, 2014, is a crossover game between Puyo Puyo and Tetris. The game has received a lot of attention due to the fact that it is the first game to have been officially localized since Puyo Puyo Fever in 2004. The English version of the game was released in April 2017.
A sequel named Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 was released on December 8, 2020.[1]

Versus
A standard versus game where players compete themselves with Puyo Puyo, Tetris or both.
Fusion / Puyo-Tetris Mix
A game mode where puyo and tetrominos fall into the field together.
Swap
Players battle against each other, switching into Puyo Puyo and Tetris at a fixed interval.
Party
A game where bonus items that help players or hinder opponents drop into the field, and must be activated by popping puyos next to it or clearing a Tetris line.
Big Bang
A fever-based game mode, the objective is to clear as many pre-set boards as one can within the time limit. The player who clears more boards will deal heavier damage until the health bar is depleted.
