Klug is a male member of Primp Town, debuting in Puyo Puyo Fever. He is known to be stuck up and rude. He is commonly perceived as a geek or nerd, or "goody two shoes". He has brown hair and is clad in purple. The book he is always seen carrying is actually from the library, and he continues to keep it through renewal. His birthday is on September 29th. He is called "Glasses" by his friend Sig due to the fact that they are classmates and friends.
Because of his envy for Lemres, Klug is often also depicted by fans as being in love with Lemres. Official content however has not gone any further than suggesting deep obsession or envy.
In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, Klug was possessed by his own book and became Strange Klug aka Possessed Klug who has the same birthday as Sig.

Akuma serves as Primp Town's librarian and as such, is annoyed with Klug for keeping the Tome of Sealing in his possession through repeated renewal. Klug thinks he's simply a nag, but Akuma has shown that he is concerned about Klug's obsession with the book as well as his fascination with dark magic.

Klug is classmates with Amitie as seen in the first Puyo Puyo Fever games; despite her kindness, He does not refuse to poke fun at her ditzy personality or her lack of skill with magic. Though, most of his biting remarks either go Amitie's head or she'll misinterpret his insults to mean something else entirely.

Klug's deep admiration for Lemres makes him a target for Feli. Feli naturally hates him for trying to be like Lemres and attempting to get close to Lemres, she sees his actions as a threat to her own affections for Lemres. Klug in response tends to be terrified of or aggressive towards Feli because of this.

Klug admires Lemres, with his ultimate goal to be a powerful and famous wizard just like him. It is revealed in The Selfish Prince and the Comet Mage that he used to live in the same neighborhood as Lemres.
His admiration for Lemres sometimes borders on obsession, to the point where he dreams about him, as revealed in flavor text for Puyo Puyo!! Quest. It's unknown if there is deeper meaning to Klug's interest with Lemres. However, this interest may be implied to be something more as he was quite fixated on Lemres' handsomeness in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. Notably, Klug talking to Lemres is one of the rare cases where Klug isn't as rude as he normally is, likely because he sees Lemres as being above him and deserving of respect.
Lidelle
While Lidelle and Klug's relationship isn't expanded upon greatly, it seems that they are at least on somewhat friendly terms. As he entrusts her to deliver a letter inviting Amitie to the Arca Ruins in Puyo Puyo Fever 2. Lidelle also cared enough about Klug's desire for Amitie to come meet him to challenge her to a Puyo battle immediately after.
She is also the one who persuaded him to come back home in Puyo Puyo Chronicle, granted this was less because of her concerns and more because he didn't want to lose his status as an honors students.
Maguro Sasaki
Klug was used as a test subject for Maguro's beauty beams in Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary. He was also investigating the magic of Maguro's kendama in Amitie and the Girl of Love.
Ms. Accord
Ms. Accord is Klug's teacher at Magic School. She seems to appreciate his ambition, but says that Klug's mischievousness and schemes are inconvenient and concerning.
Raffina
Klug is friendly rivals with Raffina and tends to be even more cutting with her due to their prideful personalities. He tends to look down upon Raffina's lack of magical powers and her brutish physical strength, much like how Raffina pokes fun at him for being full of hot air. She seems to think of him as an annoying and stuck up bookworm and he thinks of her as a brute with no brains.
This rivalry seems to extend outside of the classroom, as he's mentioned sending chain mail to Raffina in Puyo Puyo Fever 2 in an attempt to rile her up.

Klug is classmates, and most likely, friends with Sig. Though he does not understand the latter's spaced-out personality and fascination with bugs, and has a tendency to make fun of him as he does towards everyone. He also tends to be rather indignant about the nickname "Glasses" that Sig has bestowed upon him.
He isn't above helping him on occasion though, as in Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary he does give Amitie and Sig his own theory about Sig's left hand, but isn't able to say anything concrete. He does bring up a possible connection between Sig and the Tome of Sealing, but dismisses his own theory.
However, he has shown his caring side for Sig such as at the end of Sig's Secret, being concerned about his well-being. As well as in Schezo's additional story in Puyo Puyo Tetris where he attempts to get Schezo to stop following Sig. Of course, the latter occurs in a dream and might not be wholly accurate to Klug's personality.
